Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) put forth a written statement to the Human Rights Council. The submission addresses human rights abuses in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), particularly violations of free expression, unlawful arrests, enforced disappearances, arbitrary detention following unfair trials, and torture. The submission furthermore condemned the UAE involvement in the war in Yemen and calls on Members of the Council to pressure the United Arab Emirates to end these human rights violations.
